Operating Procedure:

1. Used as starting clamp to hold the string from inside the frame.
2. Also used as starting clamp to hold the string from outside the frame for 50-50 string pattern.
3. Also used for patching or tensioning short strings by using a discarded piece of string to extend it to the string gripper.

  • Place the short string into the jaws.
  • Thread a discarded piece of string through the outside hole on the left and pull the string through the corresponding hole at the right.
  • Place this string into the string gripper of the Eagnas stringing machine.

    In May 2000 the Silent Partner and Mutual Power's supplier (Xpider Co.) copied Eagnas PP-600 starting clamp design. But the Xpider Co. copied the old Eagnas design. The handle distance of the old design is 2.5 inches. The handle distance of the latest and upgraded Eagnas PP-600 starting clamp is 3.25 inches.
